CPR saves lives

Last Friday our very own Dr. Lyndi Schmidt was presented with an official award from the American Heart Association in front of City Hall, for her life saving knowledge of CPR.

326,000 people who suffer from sudden cardiac arrest are outside of a hospital when it occurs, and less than 10% of those people survive. Knowing CPR will give these people a fighting chance, and now every high school student in the San Francisco Unified School District will be required to know it before graduating.

AHA is offering CPR classes around San Francisco - click the link below, learn CPR, and equip yourself with the power to save a life.
